Introducing myself and my journal: Educating Rwanda's Next Women Leaders

About Me:
I am very happy to join all of you in this community! Thank you for the opportunity. At the Akilah Institute for Women (based in Rwanda), approximately 70 young women are receiving an education in the hospitality and tourism industry, computer literacy, the English language and leadership. With a strong emphasis on leadership, Akilah trains these young women how to stand-up for themselves, take pride in their personal and professional roles in Rwanda, as well as the global community, and how to set ambitious goals as future leaders of their country. I am a part-time instructor, as well as the Managing Director of a new English language service for the broader Kigali public and private sector.
