Bio

About Me

Engr. Ako Eyo Oku is a 2019 Mandela Wasinghton Fellow. She is a civil servant of the Federal Government of Nigeria where she has worked as Broadcast Engineer for over 6 years. She is the Coordinator of Strategy and Innovation for Development Initiative(SI4DEV), Ibadan Nigeria. A Computer Engineer by profession, Ako is registered and licensed by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria(COREN).

Ako is passionate about community service and career mentoring. In 2018, she was featured as Girlforce Champion by Rural Women Development Centre, Cameroon for mentoring African youth in career development. Ako is an Alumnus of Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and African Changemakers, a Commonwealth100+ Open Source Leader and World Pulse Ambassador.
