Taking Toilets For Granted

Just a simple reminder...

Every time I enter my bathroom (or a cubicle at work); Every time I lock the door; Every time I sit down; Every time I wipe.

Four things I - and almost every other girl and woman in my continent - take for granted.

(I have a bathroom, I have privacy, I have a toilet, I have enough tp)

And every woman should be able to take them for granted!

BUT MILLIONS OF YOUNG GIRLS AND WOMEN CAN'T - as has been pointed out in other articles here.

But nothing (in an average Western woman's daily life) is more important. Really.

For us, one desperate squat in the woods is more than enough for a lifetime.

If only other women were able to think like that!

So when you use the toilet, give thanks.

And next time you're annoyed by having to queue for a public one, and are considering storming a Men's Room for relief, just give a thought to the millions of girls and women worldwide who would give anything to be in your position in the queue.
