A new breed of woman

NO, I don't support women who behave like men.

A man is hardly a template for success!

But, as I've said elsewhere, life is tough and we should

(a) not hold back from being as tough as a man to survive, and

(b) help those who, for whatever reason, CANNOT fight.

And it's that second category which makes us the caring, sharing, daring women we are, wanting equality and rights not just for ourselves but for everyone.

So, in a feminist future, I envisage the "new breed" of woman: one who fights (not physically in 99.9% of cases) for herself, for girl children, and for her sisters throughout the world.

I am NOT suggesting that she ignores the plight of men and boys, but for the most part it's education which they need more than help, and many may be part of the patriarchy that enslaves us anyway.

(Coming tomorrow - "A New Breed of Man" - well, coming tomorrow, MY take on him anyway!)
