My Assets Map

I HAVE A DREAM. My dream is to help the people in my hometown as much as I can using the skills that I have and learning new ones in order to provide them with a better pleasant life. My dream is not only to help educate the women to be able to find work, but also the kids and elderly. I wish I could provide the kids and teenagers who wander around doing nothing with a library, a park where they can play, a place for healthy activities, a recreation center where the depressed old people can to meet at least once a week to have a breakfast, coffee, and talk to their old mates. My big fear is if the situation continues like it is now in Damour, some of the hopeless young people who live there will leave it to another city to pursue their dreams, since there are not good potential workplaces available and nothing to help them get attached to the land other than their parents. I am in the process of creating an association with other reliable members of the community who share with me the same dream, but I cannot do it all alone. I need guidance and help to be able to implement my ideas and bring my dream project to life. I truly believe that by doing so we can compensate a bit for the elderly who will be able to spend the rest of their lives peacefully and create a better ground in my hometown for the new generation to have more sense of attachment to it. At the end, I would like to thank my mother ( May her soul rest in peace) who had always encouraged me to make a change in life. I get inspired too by my kids and close friends who believe that I can do it due to my passion to serve the community which gives me a great pleasure. They know that I was born to make a change due to my outspoken and strong personality. I have always refused to be called a victim of the war, instead I consider myself as a great survival.

Thank you for sharing your story Amalie.  I can feel the roots of your home town in your words.  There are many great challenges in the Lebanon today.  But you have the most important thing to solve those challenges - a desire deep in your heart to make a difference.

I wish you great luck.  Paul Frank

Dear Amalie,

The dream you nurture is a noble one and Iam sure you will be getting across many people here on Worldpulse, who can share the vision and thought you have for the elders and the survivors of war. Indeed it is difficult and rather really courageous to sustain and survive through the times of war, yet people like you can encourage by their every effort and transform this world into a peaceful place from its existing war like condition.

At worldpulse, you would surely  co ordinate with like minded people who are already in this field and also who wish to work as same.

Best wishes,

Soumya

Dear Amalie,

Your realization of not being called a victim and a survivor of war is outstanding.

In war, we often miss voices like yours who stand up again to not bow down before the harshest situation of war and conflict.

You are lucky that you ahve your family by your side and your parents prayers. You are a powerful voice!

I wish you all the best for dreaming and not accepting the life as a mute spectator.

We are here to help and share the power of leadership with you.

I would love to see discussing your specific aims and goals in different posts to brainstorm different ideas on your dreams projects without any clutter.

Keep writing!

Stay safe!

Sending love from Kashmir!
