GENDER IN EQUALITY IN NAMBOOTHIRI COMMUNITIES

Dear Team of great women leaders,

The story begin from the birth of a girl child. The caretaker will communicate the gender to father and father will communicate the same with lot of sadness to his near and dear ones. The mother, who gave birth to the child will keep quiet and curse her destiny. This is continuing for centuries, even after good economic freedom for women. There are several questions, which we need to answer.

1. How to ensure share of fathers and mothers property to girls?

2. How to avoid gender based among the world?

3. How to avoid gender based rituals in birth, God related functions, marriage and death?

4. How to encourage education and postpone marriage age of girl child?

There are plenty of questions I have in mind, which we need to sort out. I fought for all odds and worked hard and doing the same. Let us unite for a great tomorrow of great, intelligent and responsible girls, women, mothers and grand mothers.
