A CHILD IS A GIFT FROM GOD

I thought this issue on the sex of the baby is a gone story until yesterday  I met  a long lost friend of mine, she was tired  of the world from the look on her face, she has  lost  alot of weight ,then I offered we go to a nearby food kiosk and take sodas and some mandazis as we talk,thats what I could  afford  by that time. As we sat she untied her   baby from her back, they are tired,as the sodas are being brought tears roll down her face, then I had to let her cry it out, at times it's the best medicine, she cries  for thirty minutes and some seconds then wipes her face with her lesso, I let her drink her soda and eat her mandarin, upon finishing we start  talking. I ask her where the problem is and she tells me her story. She met this man immediately  she joined  college  in2013.they had been lovers for so long until she got pregnant  and the man decided to officialise their union traditionally by paying her bride prise,.she conceived a girl  which was not  a problem at first, it all stared being a problem when she delivered  a second baby and she was a beautiful girl. That's why the man kept on saying  she should get pregnant togive him a boy.Deep down my heart  I felt I was going to confront the man ,when faith told me she  was forsed into concieving when her second child had barely  reached Six months. She prayed that it was a boy to avoid quarrels from her husband, during that time, the husband even bought boys clothes shoes and toys, she was afraid even to give birth. The husband kept on telling her he would marry if she had not delivered  a baby boy, surely men can be hurtles at times, I think loudly for my self. On the day she had delivered  and it was a girl, she tells me she almost abandoned the baby, she had even asked some nurses to exchange her baby but they refused. When the husband came, he disrespectfully looked at the baby genital parts to confirm the sex of the child and without talking he left the hospital  with everything  he had come with, this forced her to discharge herself from the hospital to go home and care for her three daughters. After afew days the husband dumped her and her kids. \"what a cruel world \" I say again. Then she continues  saying that the husband  went for a year and afew months, she came to realise that he had married  and the other wife also started by giving birth to a girl. It downed on him that that was the reality he had to live with, he never came back, she says, he begun seducing different women, the only time he came back was when he was drunk and abused me on betwiching his manhood and left. His mother also turned her back on us, she said she wanted grandsons He has turned into a drunkard she says tears  filling her eyes, she confessed  on loving the man before and saw a fulfilling future with him. That's when I asked her what she wanted, she was lost in her world for sometime, the she told  me she wanted to provide for her kids, raise them well and transform herself, then again  I asked what she was waiting  for, she told me capital to start a business, I felt her sorrows and talked to her.i told her no matter what the situation  was she was a good story, she survived the storm that could  have brought her down, and her daughters are going to be grate someday and they will forever be grateful  that she was their mother. Then on helping her I asked her if she can Hoke diapers, that's what I do to earn a living, it has changed my life  and I love waking up every morning  to go sell my diapers,.she is more than ready because it's holidays so the youngest of these girls can remain with her sisters for about 3-4hrs and we are done. So we are starting it tommorow  at 6:30i. The morning. 

This holiday change someone's life, help them became better in their lives,let them discover their abilities

Babies are beautiful  and are  equal, iregadless of their sex. Love your baby and don't regret having given birth to your baby. 

In Africa some communities still value a boy child more than a girl child,some mothers also value boy child than girl child they claim it gives them title, and earns them respect, it doesn't if you don't love and treat your children equally,   it's a high time they discovered  women are becoming grater and are doing the undoable.
