This call for proposals is specifically for organisations based in South Africa or Zimbabwe, who advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights for key populations.

This call for proposals from Aidsfonds is part of the Love Alliance: a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Aidsfonds, UHAI EASHRI, AFE, ISDAO, GALZ, Sisonke, SANPUD and GNP+ which runs from 2021 to 2025.

Aidsfonds is responsible for the participatory grantmaking for advocacy on HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights for key populations in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique, and at the Southern Africa regional level.

Utilize This Offer

Applicant organizations must:
1. Be led by sex workers, people who use drugs (PWUD), LGBTIQ+ people, including people living with HIV;
2. Be based in South Africa and / or Zimbabwe;
3. Advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights for key populations;
4. Be a not-for-profit organisation engaged in HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights advocacy in South Africa or Zimbabwe for at least two years already.
5. Complete their application in English.

Activities under the project must take place between 1st April 2022 till 31st December 2023.

Each application can request a minimum of EUR 10,000 to a maximum amount of EUR 100,000 per year.

1. Find and analyze open and closed grants opportunities that interest you. Try to discover:
• what they have in common, and
• how you can think ahead / plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
