Schneider Electric, together with AVEVA, is looking for game changers around the world who dare to disrupt, put your skills to the test, and push the boundaries of digital transformation in Energy Management.

Schneider Electric and AVEVA are seeking innovative ideas to revolutionize the energy management and automation industries.

You do not need to come from an engineering background in order to bring great ideas. Plus, once your idea is being selected, you will be able to meet mentors from Schneider Electric and AVEVA to assist you with the technical and business angles, respectively.

Submit your bold idea related to one of our five segments within energy management.

Utilize This Offer

Schneider Go Green 2022 is open to teams of 2-4 members.
To take part, you must:
1. Be a Bachelor’s or Master’s student.
2. Be studying in the same country as the rest of your team for the duration of the competition.
3. Be studying Business, Engineering, Marketing, and/or Innovation related studies.
4. In line with our Diversity & Inclusion philosophy, your team must be gender diverse.
5. You must be proficient in English, as the submission and final pitch must be presented in English.
6. You must choose and submit your proposal to one of the eligible categories.

a) Access to Energy;
b) Homes of the Future;
c) Supply Chain of the Future;
d) Grids of the Future;
e) [De]Coding the Future.

You can team up with 1-3 other team member(s) studying any major or at any university in the same country as you.

We even encourage you to create an interdisciplinary team with complimentary skills sets.

All members of a team must be studying in the same country for the duration of the competition.

Application Phase:
Register on the platform, choose a competition category and submit a proposal in English (PPT or PDF or MP4 format), addressing the following:
• What is your team’s problem statement?
• What is your solution?
• Why is your solution different?
• How will your solution work?
• Who is benefitting from your solution?
• Who is on your team?

The deadline for the submission will be on December 15, 2021 at 11:59pm PST (UTC-8) UTC +7.

The Judging Panel will evaluate your team’s idea and select the top teams to progress to the Mentoring Phase based on three key criteria:
• innovativeness,
• feasibility, and
• sustainable impact,
along with overall presentation quality and adherence to the competition rules and intentions.

Friendly reminders:
1. Find and analyze open and closed grants opportunities that interest you. Try to discover:
• what they have in common, and
• how you can think ahead / plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Gather or update paperwork (certificates, attests, statements, resumes, letters of recommendation, etc.) and information usually required by calls such this one.
3. Write - baby steps... - and discuss a project draft, to validate within your group the priorities of the proposal(s) and to train your grant writing skills as well.
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your proposal / project. Start NOW!
5. Do visit regularly the World Pulse website to make customized searches for grant opportunities. How?
a) Click on the Menu (left upper corner);
b) Type the name of your country in the search area (blank space); click enter;
c) Click on Filters;
d) Click on Resource;
e) Browse the results (opportunities) that will show up, by chronological order of posting.
6. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests. Yes, tell these stories too... They will enlighten and inspire your network.
7. Share the opportunities that do not apply to you but can interest others.
