The U.S. Embassy Beirut, Lebanon is accepting proposals for its Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Local Grants Program that are designed to:

◾Strengthen civil society; ◾Support constructive advocacy and civic activism; ◾Support citizens’ efforts to contribute to positive economic, social, political empowerment; ◾Expand opportunities for women, youth; ◾Strengthen the rule of law; ◾Develop independent media in service to communities; ◾Help communities work alongside governments in shaping their own futures.

Eligible organizations must have: ◾Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) - formerly referred to as a Dun and Bradstreet Data; ◾Universal Numbering System (DUNS); ◾NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code; ◾System for Award Management (SAM).
