Each grant shall be for up to 8 months (Feb 2017 – Sep 2017) and cannot exceed Afghani AFS 2,000,000 / USD $30,000.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Afghan Civic Engagement Program (ACEP), Counterpart International, Inc. (Counterpart) is seeking applications for its Women, Peace and Security Grant with an aim to promote civil society and media engagement that enables Afghan citizens to influence policy, monitor government accountability, and serve as advocates for political reform.

Eligibility: ◾ an Afghan CSO holding valid registration certificates, recognized by and in good standing with appropriate gov. authorities, and compliant with all applicable civil & fiscal regulations; ◾ demonstrate successful past performance in women empowerment, violence reduction.
