French Institute in Serbia announces Call for Projects for 2019 “Combating Discrimination and Gender Equality”

The aim of this contest is to provide support to actors of civil society in Serbia (associations, think tanks) in projects aimed at raising awareness of the population, especially young people (less than 30 years), organizing training and capacity building of actors at the local level, especially in the preparation of projects, in the following areas:
1) Equality between women and men (the fight against gender-based violence, sexual stereotypes, economic strengthening of women, especially in rural areas, information campaigns).
2) Fighting discrimination (primarily discrimination against people living with HIV, discrimination of members of the LGBTI population and/or persons with disabilities, without the exclusion of a specific one groups).

These subsidies are intended to finance local micro-projects.
Allocated amounts will be from 500 to 1,500 euros.
Project holders must have their headquarters in the territory of Serbia and be officially registered.

Utilize This Offer

Projects should show consistency between the proposed project and the priorities of French diplomacy in the domain of equality between women and men and the fight against discrimination against people living with HIV- LGBTI people and/or handicapped persons.
