
The Global Fund for Community Foundation (GFCF) accepts concept notes aimed at strengthening and supporting community philanthropy approaches.
Projects may focus on mobilizing local resources and/or foster the growth of local philanthropy for progressive social change.
Activities can include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting feasibility or mapping activities aimed at understanding local giving habits, opportunities and barriers
2. Strengthening the efforts of individual community philanthropy organizations that are seeking to mobilize local resources and / or foster the growth of local philanthropy for progressive social change
3. Testing or piloting new strategies and approaches in their work
4. Documenting and demonstrating practice / outcomes for evidence-based community philanthropy.
Eligibility: CPOs based in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, or Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
Grants range: US$7 thousand to US$20 thousand.

Grants are normally for an initial period of one year.
Participation in a learning network / grantee convening may be a condition of the grant.
