
The Global Campus of Human Rights has launched the 2nd edition of its most successful Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the Context of Migration.
This MOOC provides participants with knowledge, multiple perspectives and examples of practices that can help them develop and reinforce their critical understanding and effective action in a field that is at the crossroads of gender, migration and human rights studies.
The course is offered on OpenEdX, the open source platform of EdX which is one of the leading providers of open online learning.
With a user-friendly and innovative interface, this course offers an interactive and engaging learning experience without geographical limitations, allowing participants to enjoy being part of a truly global network of experts and committed human rights defenders.
The course encompasses a 6-week period and is articulated in three on-line modules.

The course is for ‘leaders of the future’ who envision a world where cross-border movement is free from GBV. Participants are expected to engage in approximately 30 hours of active learning through readings, videos, discussions, group-work/role-plays, quizzes.
