Development Impact Window: Canadian Small and Medium Organizations for Impact and Innovation - 2019 call for concept notes

This call:
- is part of Global Affairs Canada’s (GAC) 5-year pilot initiative targeted at Canadian small and medium organizations (SMOs)
- seeks to engage Canadian SMOs in intl assistance efforts in areas consistent with Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP).
This call has a 2-stage application process:
1. Concept note submission;
2. Shortlisted organizations will be invited to submit a full proposal 8 weeks after they receive an invitation letter.
Your application must:
a) be made through the Partners International portal. If you are applying on behalf of a group of organizations that would sign the funding agreement with GAC, please ensure that each organization is registered in our portal and has uploaded all required documents
b) align with at least one of the action areas outlined in Canada’s FIAP.

Grant request: at least $500,000.

Do not try to register or submit at the last minute. It may take up to 10 business days to register your organization.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply;
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills.
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
