The European Union (EU) is seeking proposals for a program entitled “Strengthening Service Provision for Drug use Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation in Iran” to contribute to a measurable reduction of the demand for drugs, or drug dependence and of drug-related health and social risks and harms.
1. to support key stakeholders by expanding their knowledge and skills in the context of implementing minimum quality standards in drug demand reduction, also in the area of social integration and harm reduction services;
2. to promote practical application of drug-related research, and, in particular, addiction research with a view of addressing current challenges and new threats;
3. to promote testing of innovative partnerships and forms of interaction between key stakeholders in policy-making and service-delivery aiming at the co-production of good governance and development outcomes.
Grant minimum amount: EUR 500,000.
