This year, the British Embassy in Asunción will run a competitive bidding process seeking to support projects and activities that deliver real and measurable outcomes in support of development in Paraguay.

We are particularly interested in projects proposals focused on the following thematic areas of work:
1. Inclusive economic growth and improvement of business environment
2. Human Rights
3. Education.

In order to be eligible, your organisation or agency must be a legal entity, not-for-profit or commercial company, a registered non-governmental (NGO) or governmental organisation, academia, research institutions, and must demonstrate:
a) proof of legal registration
b) previous experience in delivering and managing projects
c) preferably previous experience working with international agencies/organisations.

Minimum project budget USD 5,000; maximum project budget USD 8,000.

Each institution may submit up to a maximum of 2 proposals.

Deadline for submission of proposals is Friday 19 July 2019 at midnight, Paraguay time.

All proposals received in a different format or means to the one requested and/or submitted after the set date and time will not be considered.

1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply;
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills.
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
