The French Agency for Development (AFD) seeks applications from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), preferably in partnership with other international/local non-profit organizations, to enhance the quality of the coastal environment and to contribute in developing the Sri Lankan Blue Economy potential.

This call for proposals meets the French government priorities of strengthening partnerships with civil society organisations and increasing the contribution of the French official development assistance by supporting them.

The project will contribute in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), of which:
Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities;
Goal 12: Responsible production and consumption;
Goal 14: Life below water;
Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals.

Proposed projects under this call may focus on, but are not limited to, environmental education, awareness and advocacy, and the preservation of the coastal biodiversity and natural heritage.

Utilize This Offer

In order to promote green and inclusive growth in Sri Lanka, AFD is willing to support a NGO initiative in the field of shoreline environment and biodiversity protection, starting in the first semester 2020.
Please use the on-line form for your application.
