The U.S. Embassy Kyiv of the U.S. Department of State has announced an open competition for U.S. organizations to submit applications for impactful, sustainable projects that will support the development of regional media outlets in Ukraine, including:
a) more effective journalists committed to adhering to western standards of accountability and fact-based reporting
b) media managers and management structures that allow outlets to optimize resources, monetize content, and grow content and reach.
Eligibility: U.S. not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/nongovernmental organizations.
The target award amount is US$100,000; Award Floor: US$50,000.
All applicant organizations must have:
1) a Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS) before the application is submitted
2) a CCR (NCAGE) number
3) a letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator, and
4) an active account with the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) before an award can be made.
