The ANZ Seeds of Renewal program is a small grants program designed to help build vibrant and sustainable rural communities, to ensure the ongoing prosperity of regional Australia.

This program is built on two key tenets:
1. Vibrant communities are diverse and inclusive with strong social capital, where everyone can participate and build a better life.
2. Sustainable communities innovate, expand and create opportunities that will deliver demonstrable medium-to-long-term economic benefit to the community, contributing to economic sustainability.

This year, the ANZ Seeds of Renewal program is focused upon supporting projects that align to one of ANZ’s three focus areas:
a) Improving environmental sustainability
b) Improving financial wellbeing within the community
c) Improving access to housing.

Through this program, ANZ commits grants of up to $15,000 to community organisations for projects that will help their community thrive.

Deadline: 5pm AEST, Tuesday 6 August 2019

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply;
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills.
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and use its filters (right upper corner) to find what really suits you.
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others.
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests - tell these stories too. They will enlighten and inspire the sisterhood.
