Digital Frontiers with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) invites applications to respond to the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative WomenConnect Challenge (W-GDP WCC) Round 2.

This Request for Applications (RFA):
1. seeks solutions to improve women’s participation in everyday life by meaningfully changing the ways women access and use technology
2. is looking to identify and scale solutions that empower women to access and use digital technology in ways that advance the three WGDP pillars:
a) Women Prospering in the Workforce
b) Women Succeeding as Entrepreneurs
c) Women Enabled in the Economy.

Award funding: US$900,000-US$1,000,000.
Period of performance: up to 24 months.
Deadline: August 6 at 12:00pm ET

Eligibility: registered US or non-US organizations regardless of type (for profit, not-for-profit, civic groups, etc)
Applications: a) must be submitted in English; b) are. on implementing a solution in a country with USAID presence

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply;
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills.
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
