2019 N-Peace Small Grants Program to Protect the Rights of Women in Nepal

This year the N-Peace CSO Small Grants will support the strengthening of implementation of laws and policies that protect the rights of women and promote gender empowerment; this includes policies on gender-based violence, chhaupadi, the dowry system, truth and reconciliation and discrimination of marginalized groups.

The small grants award aims to support civil society action on the ground in implementing the women, peace and security agenda, and will focuses on three of the 3 pillars of the WPS agenda:
1. ensuring women’s equal participation in the decision making process
2. protecting and promoting the rights of women in conflict affected situations, and
3. preventing conflict and all forms of violence against women in conflict and post conflict situations.

Eligibility - CSOs that have
a) legal status in Nepal
b) mandate, policies and governance
c) constituency and external support
d) capacity for Project Management.

Please apply in ONE of the 3 Grant categories.

Utilize This Offer

Grant requests should be between US$ 5,000 – US$ 30,000.
Duration of grant agreement: 6 months.
To apply, applicants must: a) fill the nomination form and the capacity assessment form; b) send the proof of legal status and the CVs.

2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
