Women's Voice and Leadership Bangladesh (WVLB) is a project of Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) funded by Global Affairs Canada.

Immediate Outcomes:
1. Improved skills and knowledge of local WROs on financial and organizational management;
2. Strengthened skills and knowledge of WROs to advocate for gender equality and women’s /girl’s rights and to deliver services;
3. Increased ability of WROs to collaborate and network at sub-national, national, regional and international levels.

Size of grants:
Micro: Up to BDT 10,000,000;
Small: BDT 10,001,000 to 15,000,000;
Medium: BDT 15,001,000 to 20,000,000.

Project duration: 4 years

Applications only by:
a) Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs), Women Coalitions, Women Networks - registered as NGOs in Bangladesh;
b) The Executive Director/Head and all the members of governing board should be women;
c) At least 50% of the staff must be women;
d) NGOs with proven experience appropriate to the content and size of the grant.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills.
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
