EDTF has announced the 1st CFP under the theme ‘Ethiopian Diaspora – Partnership to Improve Social and Economic Wellbeing of Ethiopians in Need’.

Ppriority areas
Improving access to and the quality of health services
Improving access to and the quality of education
Improving access to and providing clean water and sanitation facilities
Habilitation and rehabilitation of persons with disability
Improving agricultural productivity and expanding agri-business
Supporting and nurturing innovation and expansion of technologies that will improve productivity, create jobs and facilitate youths’ engagement in entrepreneurial activities
Small scale entrepreneurship and other income and employment generating projects that create opportunities for women and youth.
Projects that cater to the reestablishment of Internally Displaced People (IDP).

Applicants must be:
- Local NGOs, civil society organizations, federal, regional or government entities;
- Legally incorporated in Ethiopia.

Utilize This Offer

Basic eligibility criteria must be met by all applicant organizations.

Grant range per project: minimum USD 200,000 / maximum USD 350,000.

Application deadline: 16 September 2019 at 17:00hrs East African Time.

1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
