Consultant to conduct an external assessment of the quality of evaluation reports (meta-evaluation)

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Education
A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. social science, evaluation, public administration).

2. Experience
a) At least 10 years of professional experience in the areas of managing strategic and programme evaluation, meta-evaluation and analysis
b) Excellent and proven knowledge of evaluation methodologies and approaches
c) Proven experience with meta-evaluation and meta-analysis of evaluation reports, preferably with UN agencies and development partners
d) Experience and background in gender equality/gender analysis and gender responsive evaluations
e) Familiarity with UNEG evaluation standards
f) Familiarity with UNEG evaluation standards
g) Knowledge and expertise of other or similar quality assurance systems
h) Fluent analytical and writing skills in English
i) Working knowledge of Spanish and French.

Location: Home based.

Type of Contract: Individual Contract.
