100 entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in one or more of the Invest2Impact programmes:
1. 2Xcelerate: Direct, face-to-face engagement with one or more of the 4 Invest2Impact financial institutions
2. 2Xcapital: Expert advice and support to unlock funding from other SME funders
3. 2Xcrowd: special programme designed for smaller businesses with innovative products or social impact
4, 2Xcatalyse: an all-expenses-paid trip to a major conference, trade show or expo in applicants´ industry
5. 2Xconnect: 100 selected entrepreneurs will be part of the 2Xconnect business network.

Businesses in any industry sector can apply and must be:
a) registered and operating in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and/or Uganda;
b) owned more than 51% by at least one woman who is a national of one of these countries;
c) operating for at least 3 yrs, and have at least 5 employees and revenues of at least USD50,000/year or assets of at least USD50,000.

Utilize This Offer

Businesses which support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are particularly welcome.

Funding categories range from up to USD100,000 to more than USD8-million.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
