The fund works to support one-off, small scale activities that tackle issues that matter to the region.

Collaborate Pacific:
a) is a ‘reimbursable fund’: successful applicants´ payment is made at the conclusion of the event, based on actual expenditure (within the amount agreed). This actual expenditure is supported by appropriate receipts and a covering invoice;
b) can cover travel (including transport, accommodation, and meals) and event costs (including hosting costs). It is expected that applicants use the most economical and direct forms of transport.

Thematic priority areas:
Climate Change and disaster risk
Economic development
Gender equality and women’s empowerment
Humanitarian response
Human Rights
Information and communications technology
Labour mobility
Oceans and fisheries
Pacific Arts, Culture & Heritage
Renewable energy

You must apply at least 6 weeks before the event!

Utilize This Offer

Only organisations (legally incorporated) are eligible to apply to Collaborate Pacific for event and travel costs for activities relevant to the fund´s objectives.
Applications should primarily include Pacific Island citizens and are accepted on a rolling basis.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
