Infosys Foundation is inviting applicants for its Aarohan Social Innovation Awards with an objective to accelerate innovation, and scale the impact of relevant ideas.

Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, is the platform where they will provide to celebrate and support such innovations, and help applicants bring them to life.

Through these awards, they are committing to help leading innovators in the social sector to scale their innovations and improve lives.

Infosys Foundation is awarding a sum of up to INR 50 lakhs to help relevant innovations scale up.

They would like to recognize and help individuals, teams or NGOs, who are developing unique solutions for social problems.

- Destitute Care
- Women’s Safety & Empowerment
- Education & Sports
- Sustainability

Judging Criteria:
1. Application to a social problem or need
2. Innovative use of technology
3. Originality of ideas
4. Quality of presentation.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.

Thanks Ana for sharing , I work for the indigenous community in maharashtra india it is a NGO LOK Biradari Prakalp .The people from this region does not have any basic amenities nor they have any source of employment.
It will strive to be great opportunity for the people of Madia Gond Tribe.
