For the sixth time, the natural health food producer Rapunzel Naturkost and IFOAM have launched the ‘ONE WORLD AWARD 2020’ (OWA) to honor the visions and activities of persons and organizations.

The award recognizes and promotes outstanding achievements within the context of the three areas of sustainability. It also recognizes people who demonstrate that globalization can indeed be more than the maximization of profits at the cost of the majority of the people around the world.

Special attention in the selection process will be given to real innovation, role models and role potential that could be up-scaled and “globalized”.

The festive OWA award ceremony will take place at Rapunzel in Legau/Allgäu in September 2020 in the context of a big gala event.
This future maker award that is endowed with a total prize money of 45,000 Euro honors people who promote and work for just and sustainable globalization that includes ecological, economic and social aspects.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
