Temasek Foundation: 6th Call for Proposals for Sustainable, Innovative Solutions to Improve Liveability (Singapore)

Temasek Foundation Ecosperity:
a) supports a diverse range of programmes that uplift lives and communities in Singapore and beyond;
b) funds and supports ideas and innovations for actual application through commercialisation and enterprise, to bring about impactful improvements to the liveability of their world, especially in cities.

Interested parties, such as individuals or groups, researchers, collaborators, institutions, organisations or companies, are invited to apply for funding for their project in focal areas such as air, biodiversity, energy, food, infectious disease management, land, noise, waste management, water, and weather and climate.

In line with the aim of eventual commercialisation, applicants are encouraged to work closely with industry partners who can support the scaling-up and operationalising of their technologies.

This is a regular and open cycle of calls, made twice yearly.

The next open call is scheduled to be made in the first half of 2020.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
