Funding will be allocated to projects that address sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), particularly for women and adolescent girls, on critical gap areas
a) reproductive health services
b) comprehensive sexuality education
c) family planning and contraceptives
d) safe and legal abortion and post-abortion care
e) sexual and gender-based violence (including child, early and forced marriage, and female genital mutilation and cutting)
f) advocacy activities for SRHR.

Applicant’ organizations must
1) be a Canadian organization, legally incorporated in Canada, that can provide proof of its legal status
2) provide two separate financial statements for their organization’s most recent fiscal years
3) provide a signed Organization Attestation.

Proposed project should
- take place in one/more official development assistance-eligible countries; Sub-Saharan Africa countries are priority;
- last minimum five yrs / maximum seven years
- request at least CAD$5 million.

Utilize This Offer

Proposals should adopt a feminist and sustainable approach to improve the health, human rights and well-being of diverse groups of women, adolescent girls and children.
Applications should be in either English or French.
Deadline: Oct 10, 2019 at 12 pm (noon) ET

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.

This is fantastic. I am so glad to see this posted here, so glad you know about it and hope that organizations who are eligible and doing this work will get applications in, before the fast approaching date. I hope this is seen widely here.
