The Levi Lassen Foundation believes in an Israel where everyone participates in a shared and just society, predicated on the best values of equality, tolerance and social justice in a liberal democracy.

The Foundation will consider funding applications and projects that fulfil the following criteria:
1) NGOs focused on and committed to a shared Israeli society, that run specific programs where people from different “tribes”, backgrounds and/or beliefs work together to advance joint living, inclusion, discourse, cooperation, mutual understanding and tolerance and/or combat polarization, racism, discrimination, hatred, prejudice and division;
2) The project must:
a) have at least two sectors (“tribes”) doing something together
b) have synergy with the overall vision and mission of the NGO
c) be of grassroots nature
d) have a down to earth impact and make a difference
e) target the population of 18 years old and older
f) run for one year.

Grants: up to 20,000 Euro’s.

The Foundation seeks to support programs committed to promoting a shared society.
Applicant NGOs must demonstrate a stable, effective, creative and well-run organization, a sound financial status, and Nihul Takin.

Deadline (Stage 1 application): Oct 3, 2019.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
