The U.S. Embassy South Africa Public Affairs Section, U.S. Department of State (PAS) has announced a 2020 South Africa Mandela Washington Fellow Program Logistics

The grantee will work cooperatively with the Public Affairs Sections in Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg to manage the logistics for participants in the 2020-2021 Mandela Washington Fellows (MWF) Program.

The Fellowship provides 700 young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa with the opportunity to hone their skills at a U.S. college or university with support for professional development after they have returned home.

Award Ceiling / Floor US$35,000 / US$25,000.

Eligibility Criteria:
1) U.S. and South African registered not-for-profit organizations, including civil society/non-governmental organizations with programming experience;
2) For-profit or commercial entities are not eligible to apply;
3) Only one proposal per organization.
