Expressions of interest (EoIs) for research on scaling the impact of educational innovations / GPE and IDRC

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and IDRC invite from individual organizations or consortia to build knowledge and capacity on scaling the impact of educational innovations in GPE member countries.

Funded projects will:
a) design and lead action research on scaling across Knowledge and Innovation Exchange-funded projects;
b) conduct additional research that engages multiple perspectives on the processes and critical success factors on scaling education innovations;
c) use findings from this research to produce practical and conceptual guidance on scaling that balances quality, equity, efficiency, and sustainability for education systems and outcomes.

Eligibility:
1) Individual organizations or groups of up to 4 organizations working in a consortium located within and outside of GPE member countries;
2) Non-profit or for-profit organizations;
3) Individuals, government ministries and agencies, and for-profit providers of core education services are not eligible

Regions: Central Asia, Europe, Far East Asia, Middle East, North and Central America, North of Sahara, Oceania, South America, South Asia, South of Sahara, West Indies.

Duration: Up to 42 months.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!

6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
