2020 World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Awards to address Global Educational Challenges

The 2020 WISE Awards seek to recognize and promote six successful innovative projects that are addressing global educational challenges.

The ideal project would be an ongoing, innovative and impactful education initiative that:
1) Has an excellent record of proven success;
2) Is financially sustainable;
3) Has a clear plan indicating the project’s future objectives and future development;
4) Is scalable;
5) Is replicable in other contexts and regions of the world;
6) Has a clear understanding and knowledge of:
a) its innovative nature,
b) its distinctiveness within its sphere of action, and
c) the type and depth of its impact on its beneficiaries.

Applications should be for original works and projects,

Ongoing/existing education projects run by any type of organization and private-sector companies working in the field of education are invited to apply or nominate.

Each WISE Awards winning project will receive US$20,000.

Deadline: 1300 GMT, January 20, 2020.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
