Mohammed bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity has launched the “Sustainable and Healthy Food for All – How can urban populations increase access to healthy and sustainable foods, despite rapid urbanization?” Challenge with an aim to find and support innovative solutions that will promote urban access to healthy and sustainable food for all.

To do so, the Mohammed bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity is seeking applications from innovators and makers around the world that will:
1. Provide equitable and affordable access to healthy, low carbon food in cities;
2. Create more efficient supply chains and reduce food loss and waste;
3. Reduce hunger, malnutrition, and food related illnesses in urban areas.

Scoring Criteria:
a) Alignment;
b) Potential for Impact;
c) Scalability;
d) Innovative Approach;
e) Feasibility.

The Challenge will award winners with prizes of value up to USD 1,000,000 in prizes.

1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
