The UN Women Training Centre eLearning Campus is a global and innovative online platform for training for gender equality.
It is open to everybody interested in using training or learning as a means to advance gender equality, women’s empowerment and women’s rights.

Via this platform, we seek to create a productive and accessible learning environment on gender equality and women’s empowerment for all users.
The overall learning, teaching and knowledge sharing is enriched among learners, facilitators, and wider institutional stakeholders through the use of technology, diverse e-learning modalities, and innovative pedagogical techniques.
The Campus offers a flexible learning experience that meets the demand of a diverse and global audience and allows for continuous acquirement of skills and knowledge.

We are committed to delivering high quality training for gender equality by offering a diverse range of self-paced, moderated, blended and face-to-face courses, tools and services.

Self-paced courses are delivered online and can be accessed using a computer.
Self-paced courses allow learners to access content at their pace, and from anywhere at any time. T
his type of course is mainly interactive and can include video, audio or animations to enhance the learning experience.

There are currently 28 free self-paced (online) courses and 6 paid self-paced (online) courses.
Most of them are in English but several of them are in Spanish, French and Arabic.

Utilize This Offer

UN Women offers free online courses across many subject areas through the global online platform for training for gender equality.

Courses include the ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Gender Equality’ which is directed to government representatives and public servants, officials from the UN System, international organizations, academics and the general public.

Self-paced courses are online, therefore, can be accessed anytime using a computer.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar offers (open and closed ones) that interest you in order to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan your application;
2. Prepare / test your device, internet connection, environment where you will be studying;
3. Plan to be available for the required length and effort foreseen for the course;
4. Do all your homework (readings, quizzes, forum participation, papers, etc) to get the most of this opportunity;
4. Whenever possible, interact with your peers and instructors. You will learn far beyond the syllabus!
5. Visit regularly this platform - - and search for other free courses that may suit you;
6. Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others!
7. Spread the word about this and other free online courses (MOOCs).

Still in home office and social distancing - the city I am currently living in (Salvador-BA) is not reopening. Others are and in not so good conditions. Hard times for governors as well.
