The programme will run virtually for five weeks from early September until late October 2020.
Keeping in mind entrepreneur’s busy time, our programme weeks will contain 3 days of content and there will be a break of several weeks in between to allow time for FLANE inputs to be digested and implemented by the teams.

This way, we hope to bring the best of both worlds by combining the experience and excellence from on-site programmes with the flexibility of a remote setup.

Together, we aim to work by your side to deliver impact in the shortest time possible, give you the tools you need to live to your highest potential and amplify your voice along the way.

We work side by side with our ventures to help them live to their highest potential and impact.

Five weeks of acceleration will provide a platform to grow individually, sharpen your business and impact model and get it ready for investment.

The curriculum is strongly tailored to the individual needs of the social entrepreneurs and makes use of team sessions and individual deep dive formats.

It covers topics around purpose, customer and product development, growth & marketing channels, organizational development, online networking, tech development and finally, investor and financial management.

FLANE scouts social entrepreneurs that empower women worldwide.
The ventures they look for are:
1) led by women or empower women in their roles,
2) clear about the social mission and measure their impact,
3) an innovative and technology-based solution,
4) scalable solutions that have the potential to impact millions of girls and women around the world,
5) put into practice by means of an enterprising, more-than-profit approach,
6) have proven their concept in the market,
7) will benefit from participating in the programme and
8) ventures to which the value of the help is real.

The application process consists of three steps:
1. The first steps is an online application, asking about your business idea, team and motivation.
2. In a second step, their team will schedule a call to get to know you and your business more in-depth.
3. Lastly, an experienced advisory board takes the final decision in the application process.

The application process will close on the 31st of July 2020.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and attests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your proposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests. Yes, tell these stories too... They will enlighten and inspire your network
