Friends of Moldova: Call for Applications for Small Grants Program

The Friends of Moldova is inviting applications for the Small Grants Program from local nonprofits, initiative groups, and aspiring entrepreneurs that benefit the Moldovan community, either through direct funding or through material support (such as technology, equipment, or educational materials).

Friends of Moldova believes that local communities understand their own needs and aspirations best, so they feel the community must be the primary force behind the project.

Utilize This Offer

To be eligible for a grant you must fall into at least one of the following categories:
1. Moldovan citizens (youth and young adults encouraged);
2. Moldovan initiative groups, startups, small businesses, and social entrepreneurships;
3. Organizations registered as non-profit NGOs and operating in Moldova;
4. Current Peace Corps Volunteers through the Peace Corps Partnership Program.

Grant amount up to USD$3000.

We're accepting grant applications through 31 January 2021!

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and attests usually required by calls such this one);
3. Write - baby steps... - and discuss a project draft, to validate within your group the priorities of the project and also to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your proposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Do visit regularly the World Pulse website to make customized searches for grant opportunities. How?
a) Click on the Menu (left upper corner);
b) Type the name of your country in the search area (blank space); click enter;
c) Click on Filters;
d) Click on Ressource;
e) Browse the results (opportunities), that will show up, by chronologic order.
6. Share the opportunities that do not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests. Yes, tell these stories too... They will enlighten and inspire your network;
