The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project: “Modernization of the Vocational Education and Training System (VET) Related to Agriculture in Georgia – Phase II” is announcing call for proposal to support vocational educational, training/retraining institutions and other short-term training provider organizations (NGO’s) operating in the field of agriculture, for their capacity building and further development to implement new authorization standards through allocation of small grants.

The purpose of the Call for Proposals is to support vocational educational, training/retraining institutions and other short-term training provider organizations (NGO’s) operating in the field of agriculture, for their capacity building and further development to implement new authorization standards through allocation of small grants.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Vocational educational, training/retraining institutions (LEPL’s, N(N)LE’s) including other short-term training providers and organizations (N(N)LE’s (NGO’s) with agriculture development background (including agriculture/food processing fields);
2. Applicant organizations must demonstrate proven experience and capabilities in carrying out the formal and/or non-formal vocational education and training in the field of agriculture / food processing.
3. Applicant organizations should be registered in accordance with the legal requirements of the Government of Georgia, must be able to provide organization’s statute and the debt certificate.
4. Coalitions (partnership) with VET/training providers, NGOs, private sector and government institutions is encouraged.
5. Applicants shall bear all costs related to proposal preparation and submission.

Amount allocated for each grant should be not less than GEL 15,000 and no more than GEL 40,000.

Duration of the submitted project shall not exceed 12 months, counted from the date of the contract signature to the date when all relevant activities have been successfully completed.

All proposal must be expressed in English.

Proposals may be submitted on or before Monday, February 22, 2021 at 17:00 PM.

1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you, in order to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and attests usually required by calls such this one);

4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your proposal/project. Start now!!!
