
The Thomas Wall Trust is currently accepting proposals for the 2021 Digital Skills Programme to equip adults with basic digital skills for work and life, helping them access the online world.
Thomas Wall II created his Trust in 1920 for the “encouragement and assistance of educational work and social service”. Today, the Trust continues to assist in these areas by providing grants to individuals and organisations.
Utilize This Offer
The Trust will fund:
1. Projects working with disadvantaged people aged 18 or over to improve their basic digital skills;
2. Not for profit organisations / charities based in the UK that have been established for at least three years;
3. Organisations with an annual turnover that does not exceed £500,000;
4.Priorities:
a) Projects that link digital skills with employment opportunities.
b) Match funded projects.
c) Organisations that can provide compelling evidence of impact.
d) Organisations working with collaborative networks.
Organisations are welcome to apply for grants up to £5,000.
The deadline for initial applications is Friday 19th February 2021.

1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you, in order to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and attests usually required by calls such this one);
3. Write - baby steps... - and discuss a project draft, to validate within your group the priorities of the project and to train your grant writing skills as well;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your proposal/project. Start now!!!

b) Type the name of your country in the search area (blank space); click enter;
c) Click on Filters;
d) Click on Resource;
e) Browse the results (opportunities) that will show up, by chronological order of posting;
6. Share the opportunities that do not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests. Yes, tell these stories too... They will enlighten and inspire your network;
