The Google.org Impact Challenge Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) is an open call for grant applications to provide grants to support initiatives that put digital inclusion at the heart of economic recovery.

The Challenge wants to empower nonprofit organisations, for-profit organisations and academic institutions with charitable initiatives that use technology and innovation to help individuals and communities gain new skills for the future.

Utilize This Offer

The Challenge is open to any not-for-profit charity, other not-for-profit organisation, public or private academic or research institution, or for-profit company with a charitable project that is located in one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.

Unfortunately, individuals without organisational affiliation are ineligible.

Grant may range from €50,000 to €250,000, but will ultimately be allocated based on project needs.

Applications should be submitted in English.

Deadline: March 1st, 2021.

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you, in order to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and attests usually required by calls such this one);
3. Write - baby steps... - and discuss a project draft, to validate within your group the priorities of the proposal(s) and to train your grant writing skills as well;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your proposal / project. Start now!!!
5. Do visit regularly the World Pulse website to make customized searches for grant opportunities. How?
a) Click on the Menu (left upper corner);
b) Type the name of your country in the search area (blank space); click enter;
c) Click on Filters;
d) Click on Resource;
e) Browse the results (opportunities) that will show up, by chronological order of posting;
6. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests. Yes, tell these stories too... They will enlighten and inspire your network;
7. Share the opportunities that do not apply to you but can interest others;
