Matters of the heart

You cut me, I cut you, we bleed the same colour blood. Yet we continue to remain mentally enslaved by a system that was created by man. A system created to make us feel that our physical attributes define us an makes one superior to the other. Such folly!!! We continue to destroy the very fabric of our being by condemning and destroying each other whether it's by words or deeds.

The blood of our forefathers are still crying out because we are nowhere close to being liberated. Mentally bound with our own ideals, that continues to divide. We must emancipate ourselves from mental slavery. It begins with self. Our life is but  dust. Here today, gone tomorrow. Then what of the future generation? Our children and children's children.

Proverbs 13:22 says A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. What are we leaving? Let us put vain things aside and examine ourselves and do our part in building each other up with love and unity. May God have mercy on us all. Blessings.
