For Women called by Sister but for Male called by Sir in office

Yesterday, 30 December 2019, we had gender focal person meeting in the  Nepal Ministry. Where 21 gender focal person of every office's representatives were participated. And they were keeping their own view for policy influences. In Nepal , every offices have problem of such issues so that how to go a head, and how to sensitize them.  Then every offices need to make anti sexual  harrassement policy for minimize such activities.  Most of the Ministry have very less women. Therefore, I kept voice to give priority to  women in   policy provision  in soon for recruting women staff more and more .  Then joint secretary agreed in my view. 

As well as some ladies said that for male staff people called Sir but for women staff they called sister. Therefore, she said that  women staff should be respected as Male by calling madam. For example, If there is women Minister people used to call Sister but for male Minister people bowed down and called Sir. Therefore, this system should be avoided.
