When I was 19 years old. Suddenly, on the occasion of the International labor women day, people offered me to do announcer of women day. I had not announcer experiences but I thought I must do this role for learning.

Therefore, I agreed to do announcement. We made great rally in that day. And, I completed my announcement learning by doing and keeping voice of women. Therefore, I became so happy to get chance of becoming announcer, my happiness limitation was not bound, I was so happy and happy.

But when I was on the way, many many seniors people looked like officers level were talking about women day and they said to denoting me '' Jara navako lahara (Activist women are like Tendril with out root )'' . They said that women could not change anythings. There is no meaning of Women day and they scolded women. I was young so that I could not say anythings to them because I was in alone on the way.

After reaching home that words striking me and still when women day comes then that word is striking me ''Jara navako lahara''

Dear Anita,
How great that you were asked to speak, and what a rude awakening that you were met with the words of men determined to ruin the occasion of that gathering. Now through our connections with each other we are those plants with strong tendrils, plants that have deep roots intertwined with each other's. Keep strong, dear sister, and keep speaking out no matter what resistance. We are here together now.
Love in sisterhood,
Tam

Yes dear, now we have roots. Otherwise, I had no connection in that time. Therefore, I was so afraid in that moments.

Hello Anita,
There is this saying that practice makes perfect. So even though you've never been an announcer and you were given the opportunity to do so, at least it wasn't for nothing. I think you gained one thing.
"Activist women are like tendrils without roots".
Anita, this saying which comes out from a woman's mouth really tells us that they are underestimating women. This is not true because a woman is foresighted in many aspects of life.
We have to respect women whether small or big.

Thank you dear for encouraging me

Hello, Anita,

What a great experience that was to be an announcer! How dreadful that you were discouraged by those men.

We stand with you now, sister! Raise your voice and make it louder! This is the best time to be an announcer once again. Your World Pulse sisters are behind you if men would dare silence you again. Hugs!
