Tara Khadka is from Jumla District (a remote area Nepal), of Nepal. She married when she was a teenager. Her husband died when she was 33 years old. Therefore, now she is living with her son and daughter-in-law as well as her grandchildren. When her husband died, she had done a lot of struggles in caring for her children. Then she commits to doing women upliftment in her area by providing to control early marriage, women empowerment. As a result, now she is a central member of the National Irrigation Committee and HIMWANTI Nepal. Now she thought to dedicate her life to the upliftment of rural women and their life. Now her age is only 47 years.
