Hello Dear,

Thanks for sharing this sad story and post. I'm sorry you had to endure so many insults, especially because I'm sure you had enough to deal with without the insults. I hope future generations will be open-minded and kind to others with SC so they don't have to suffer unnecessarily, like you did, and quite possibly still do. But I'm glad you did find your Romeo and that you rose above all the insults.

How brave you are to speak your truth! You are more than just a person with sickle cell. SC is part of you, but you are more than that. I’m glad that you overcome!

You are such a beautiful, smart, and talentedwoman. I’m glad you didn’t settle to be with “Romeo” who didn’t see how valuable you are. I’m glad you married a man who loves you for who you are.
