Security means to me

Security means felling safe and not being afraid of who you are or where you are. I have heard many times about how a guy can pretend to be nice and all but ends up being horrible to you. Sometimes people hide all of their life because they are scared of other people. I'ts hard to know who to trust and not to trust. I think that if you don't know a person and they say hi walk away if you don't feel like they are friendly.  I know some people have dogs as security for their home.  Some people just don't go out in public for a reason.

Dear Annelise,
Security is a very important issue and you are right that one cannot believe to any other right after the introduction, they can turn out to be different, which may be the security threat. In young girl and women's case, there are lots of violence (rape, physical violence, acid attack, trafficking )occurring everywhere, which needs to be addressed.
best regards,
anjana

I agree that is very true and it’s especially hard for people who have a disability like me. It’s so hard to know who to trust and who not to trust.

Dear Annelise,
Sorry to hear about your physical condition and I know the difficulties and vulnerabilities, especially a girl/women living with a disability and it needs special provisions. But I felt you are confident and brave my sister, your every word are powerful... keep your confidence, keep being cautious and keep raising your voice and work for it.
Love, regards and solidarity,
anjana

How sad to live in fear, it is either from the people you might think you so close to them and the ones you expect to get protection from them however end up locking your doors like a prisoner in your own back yard. We supposed to love, accept and protect each other as human beings, even animals with no voice still cuddle, love and protect each other, so cant we? with the current SA Xenophobia attacks, this breaks my heart as I have friends from different cultures and different countries I feel so safe around them and knowing I will be safe visiting their countries too BUT we have turned ourselves into cannibals ready to drink blood and this need to stop and start living in harmony without fear of each other. Love conquers all and with love towards each other the world is big for all of us.

I 100% agree with you on this. It’s so sad that we have been cruel to others.
