Hello Annrey48,

Welcome to the World Pulse community. You have joined a community of women and activist from across the globe all who share interesting stories using their voices, and technology to make a difference.

What a wonderful opportunity you have shared with the community, it sounds exciting and gives some historical information on the battered women's movement in the U.S. I look forward to reading more from you and look forward to listening to your voice in your journal post.

We have a lot to work on to establish equality of women and men on earth.  I chose domestic violence because I am a survivor who thrives.  All women need to know we are not the victims society would like to believe we are.  We are strong and capable of anything we put our minds to including making the world a peaceful place.
