We long for peace in the Northwest and Southwest of Cameroon
I long for peace

After hearing things that have happened. After seeing things happened, and after seeing the pains and imagine what pain people have gone through especially their last moments with a gun pointed at them or a knife used on them following the crisis in camerCam, I only cry and at times ask "how many more need to go" (the question you and I cannot answer). After all these inner tourture, I console myself with my designed words "peace is coming somehow someday".  For me peace in Cameroon will mean; 1. That day our husbands will not be running for their lives for being the targets.  2. The time our children will move around comfortable without our hearts falling off as parents. 3.  Peace for me as well will be when instead of hearing the sound of gun and explosives regularly, we will hear sounds of fireworks on the eve to Christmas and New year. 4. Peace will be when my fellow sisters and myself will be free to go to the farm, business places and take care of our precious families without any fear of the unknown due to the very unpredictable nature of the crisis. *As as advocate of persons with disabilities, I feel for our own persons we stand for. Last year someone on wheelchair was shoot... May his soul rest in peace* I fear for the deaf and the visually impaired.. Who do not hear when and where to run to respectively when it's time to run. Schools have not been going on, hospitals are getting full, mortuaries are getting full, cemeteries are so busy these days.... Nevertheless, we Still courageous and hopeful to say "peace is coming somehow someday"

I hope it should be soon.
